It is used to temporarily improve the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet lines and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. Botox is an effective neuromodulator treatment, and the science is alluring! Once injected, Botox bonds to your nerve endings, blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that’s responsible for stimulating your facial muscles’ contractions. This causes your facial muscles to relax, and fine lines and wrinkles smooth and diminish.
The Science of Fillers
Dermal fillers typically contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body. It keeps the skin hydrated. Plump and elastic. As you age, your body produces less hyaluronic acid. Fillers are injected within the soft tissue of the skin. Once injected, the filler diminishes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, creases, and other visible skin imperfections.

Will it be noticeable?Â
No. With proper technique applied by certified injectors, BOTOX® creates a very subtle effect and will not cause you to look abnormal. You will notice a decrease in the lines on the treated area, and movement of the muscles will be more restricted (to achieve this result), but you will not look as if you have had anything altered explicitly on your face.
How much does it cost?Â
BOTOX® treatments are priced per unit, the industry standard for fair and honest pricing. During your consultation, we will discuss your desired results and recommend the number of units you will need (with pricing) before the treatment is performed. You may also suggest a comfortable budget for your treatment, and we will be able to recommend what areas may be treated within those parameters.

Yes. You may get mild redness that fades within a few hours.

How long do results last?
The duration of the filler depends on which skin area was injected. The active skin areas like the lips won’t last long, while static skin areas like tear-throughs have a longer duration. The viscosity of the dermal filler also determines its duration. Thinner fillers like JuvedermUltra last six months, while thicker fillers like Juvederm Voluma last two years. Results vary for each patient.
Are there side effects?
Yes. You may get swelling, bruising, or lumps on the treated area. These symptoms dissolve within a few days.
