Cheekbone Pop injectable dermal filler made from naturally occurring Hyaluronic Acid can be injected into 1.0cc of cheekbone area. It is injected along cheekbones and temples and is firmer and more robust than the fillers we use in the lips. In addition to giving you defined cheekbones, this treatment also acts as an excellent anti-aging treatment.

Your body will naturally break down and digest the Cheekbone Pop, and the duration of its effects will depend on how quickly your body metabolizes it. It usually lasts for 18-24 months.

Cheekbone Pops takes about 20 minutes, including about ten minutes of numbing time. 

In case you are concerned about pain, we can apply a prescription-strength numbing cream 10-15 minutes before you are injected, so that you will feel nice and numb before your procedure. In most cases, patients opt to apply numbing cream to their cheeks because this area of the face is less vascular, and there is less discomfort.

If you would like to minimize your chances of bruising, we recommend avoiding ibuprofen and blood-thinning medication for three days before your injections. You may want to consider starting a cold sore treatment if you tend to get them. 
 

Recovery will be different for everyone- we have BeautyLoungers who feel great after their injection appointments and others who swell and bruise. Your body chemistry really determines how you react! Swelling is common for most people… generally, the morning following your injections is when you will be the most swollen, but nothing you can’t handle.
