You will most likely need between one and three treatment sessions spaced about a month apart to achieve your desired aesthetic. It may be necessary to perform up to six sessions in cases of severe volume loss.

Sculptra takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. It is a quick and easy procedure.

Compared to invasive procedures, such as lifts and tucks, there is almost no preparation needed before your appointment. To prevent excessive bruising and swelling, we ask our patients to refrain from alcohol and (NSAIDs) anti-inflammatory medications in the days leading up to their treatment.

Although the results of this treatment vary from patient to patient, they can last up to two years. In many cases, patients need several treatments to address facial volume loss fully, and results develop over time after initial treatments.

You should have little to no pain after your Sculptra injections. The injections cause mild, temporary discomfort that feels like a slight pinch. Patients say they have a feeling of pushing and pulling with some pressure.

After Sculptra treatment, there is little to no downtime required, and you do not need to take time off of work. However, we recommend refraining from exercise for 24 hours after injections. It is possible to experience mild swelling, soreness, red bumps, or bruising after receiving Sculptra injections. However, the redness should disappear shortly after injections, so you can gently apply makeup.
